Lehigh Men Cap Weekend Home Stand with Loss to Saint Francis

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Saint Francis Red Flash ended Lehigh's hopes at a weekend sweep by handing the Mountain Hawks a 6-1 defeat on Sunday inside the Lewis Tennis Center.
St. Francis (7-3) rolled to a 6-1 victory at No. 3 doubles and then edged out a 6-4 win at flight No. 1 to clinch the doubles point.
The Red Flash earned victories at the first three singles spots to lock up the victory over Lehigh (2-6). Alec Dylan Foo-Kune clinched the match for SFU as he edged out George Cooper at No. 1 singles with a 7-6 (4), 6-0 victory.
Colin Nardella earned the first Lehigh victory of the day with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Rodrigo Tico at No. 4 singles. Nardella picked up his second win of the weekend and improves to 3-4 on the season, with a record of 3-0 at the fourth spot.
Ethan Bogard also earned his second victory of the weekend when he defeated Eli Cerdan, 6-4, 5-7, 10-6, at flight No. 6. Bogard is now 4-1 this season, including a 2-1 record at the sixth spot.
The Mountain Hawks have now concluded their five-match February home stand and will return to action on March 13 at Azusa Pacific to start their spring break California trip.
