Men’s Cross Country Lands 12 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's cross country team landed 12 student-athletes on the Fall Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league announced Friday. To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain a 3.2 grade-point average during the fall semester and have been listed on the team's roster this past season. As a team, Lehigh had average team GPA of 3.22 during this past fall semester.

Three Mountain Hawks were among the 16 league-wide who achieved a 4.0 GPA during the Fall 2016 semester, including Jeffrey Kirshenbaum, Henry Paul and Patrick Reilly. Seniors Ryan Cooney and Kyle Leonard both made the list for the fourth time in their careers, while Ryan Grace, Kyle Kirk, Kyle Leonard, Henry Paul and Patrick Reilly all made it for the third time in as many years.

In total, 119 men's cross country runners landed on the honor roll, with Lehigh's 12 honorees ranking as the fourth most in the league. Navy led the way with 23 honorees, followed by Bucknell (16) and Holy Cross (13).
