Lehigh Set for League Matchup at American

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Mountain Hawks embark on the home stretch of the Patriot League regular season with four crucial league games remaining. Lehigh begins with a trip to American on Saturday with kickoff set for 2 p.m.
Lehigh (9-4-1, 3-1-1) owns the second-most points in the Patriot League this season, while American (3-9-1, 2-3) is tied with Bucknell for seventh in the standings and is on the outside looking in at the final postseason spot. The Mountain Hawks enter Saturday's game as winners of their last two and own a record of 3-1-1 in the month of October. The Eagles are coming off a win and have a record 2-1 in October.
Saturday's tilt features the Patriot League's top offense against the league's worst defense. Lehigh is averaging 1.86 goals per game overall this season with an average of 1.60 in league play. American has a goals-against average of 2.15 throughout the course of the entire season with an average of 1.80 in league games.
The Mountain Hawks are led offensively by two of the nation's most productive players this season. Mark Forrest owns the third-most goals (11), the fourth-most points (28) and fifth-best points per game average (2.00) in Division I this season, while Doyle Tuvesson ranks third with nine assists and fourth with 0.69 assists per game. Forrest and Tuvesson rank first and third, respectively, in the league in points and points per game.
