BETHLEHEM, Pa. - After stopping 10-of-11 shots at the JMU Invitational over the weekend, Lehigh men's soccer senior Jacob Gottwald has been named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week, as announced on Monday. The senior goalkeeper earned his third-career shutout at James Madison Friday before making four saves against Radford Sunday.

Gottwald had a six-save shutout against host James Madison Friday, four of those six sop came in the second half, including a dazzling stop in the 89th minute to preserve the 1-0 win .

Gottwald went on to stop four-of-five shots against a strong Radford team Sunday. The Highlanders were coming off an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament last season and entered 2016 as the preseason favorites in the Big South. Every one of Gottwald's save came in the second half Sunday.

Also recognized on Monday was sophomore Oscar Greene, who scored his first-career goal in dramatic fashion Friday. Greene scored in the 84th minute, which proved to be the only goal of the game in Lehigh's season-opening victory.

Gottwald and the Mountain Hawks now look ahead to their home opener as they host Delaware on Friday at 7 p.m.
