Four from men’s basketball named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Four members of the Lehigh men's basketball team were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll on Wednesday following strong performances in the classroom. Seniors Devon Carter, John Ross Glover and Justin Goldsborough were all honored, as was sophomore Tyler Jenkins. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
Carter led the way with an impressive 3.88 spring GPA as a Psychology major. An English major, Glover posted a 3.76 GPA while Goldsborough tallied a 3.42 GPA in Marketing and Jenkins had a 3.24 GPA in Finance.
The Mountain Hawks as a team continue to impress in the classroom as they posted a team GPA over 3.0 in the spring semester.
Lehigh finished the 2015-16 season with a 13-5 league record, making it all the way to the Patriot League Championship Game. The 13 league victories marked a school record while Lehigh played multiple NCAA Tournament teams in its nonleague schedule. The Mountain Hawks return four of their five starters next season, all who earned postseason Patriot League recognition.
