PRINCETON, N.J. – Lehigh's Adeolu Adesida earned All-East honors on Sunday at the ECAC/IC4A Championships in Princeton, N.J. Adesida earned the accolade after tying for eighth place in the high jump after leaping 2.03 meters. The event marked the end of the grad student's collegiate career with the Brown and White, during which he captured a total of four total Patriot League Championships and is the university's current record holder for the indoor and outdoor high jumps.

Lehigh also received solid contributions in Saturday's 5K with sophomore Patrick Reilly leading the way in ninth place (14:32.70) out of 37 runners, where he set a new personal record. Freshman Samuel Layding placed 14th overall with a personal high mark of 14:39.35 and senior Evan Hardy closed out his collegiate career by crossing the line in 24th place (14:52.15). Junior Alexander Fitzgerald (14:59.13), junior Ryan Cooney (15:05.95) and senior Sean Burke (15:11.59) also represented the Mountain Hawks in the 5,000 meter event.

"We actually qualified almost twice as many people as we brought with us due to final exams, but I'm very pleased with how we came away," head coach Matt Utesch said.

Next up for Lehigh, junior Lucas Warning is currently in position to qualify for the shot put at the First Round of the NCAA Championships. Warning currently sits 28th (17.60m) in the East Region, with the top 48 in the event qualifying. The First Round will take place on May 26-28 in Jacksonville, Florida.
