BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh volleyball team will play its final home match of the season on Saturday in a Patriot League matchup with American. Opening serve is slated for 4 p.m. at Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall. Prior to the match, the Mountain Hawks will honor its two seniors, Katie Jennison and Mariah Brantley, in their final home matches with the Brown and White.

Live stream of the match will be available on the Patriot League Network and live stats will be available through lehighsports.com.

Lehigh enters Saturday's match ranked fifth in the Patriot League, just one match behind Navy who holds the fourth seed and final spot for the Patriot League Championship. American is the top team in the Patriot League and has already clinched a spot in the PL postseason. The Eagles won the first meeting with Lehigh earlier this season by a final score of 3-0, but only won the final two sets by a combined total of four points.

The Mountain Hawks are looking to end a three-match skid as they play host to the Patriot League's top squad. Lehigh suffered a 3-2 loss at home to Navy two weeks ago before falling 3-1 on the road to Bucknell and 3-0 at home to Colgate last weekend.

American will face Colgate on Friday before traveling to Lehigh on Saturday. The Eagles enter the weekend on a 14-match win streak having not lost since suffering a 3-0 defeat at Hofstra on September 17. AU picked up a pair of 3-0 victories at home last weekend against Holy Cross and Army to improve its sweep streak to eight matches. Of the 14 consecutive match victories for the Eagles, 13 have been 3-0 sweeps.

Lehigh is 7-4 at home this season with a mark of 4-3 against Patriot League opponents on its home floor. American enters the weekend with a record of 11-2 in road matches and a record of 6-0 against conference foes on the road.

The Eagles own a 32-5 record against the Mountain Hawks in the all-time series which began in 1979. Of those five victories for Lehigh, three have come at home with the last one occurring on a 3-2 win in the regular season finale in 2014.
