Lehigh captured a 2-0 victory over defending champion and No. 5 Bucknell Tuesday night in the Patriot League Quarterfinals at the Ulrich Sports Complex. Sophomore keeper Joe Bogan made a career-high 13 saves as Lehigh secured its ninth shutout of the season, while freshman Mark Forrest and sophomore Doyle Tuvesson scored Lehigh's goals. Tuvesson's goal was recently highlighted by FOX Soccer and referred to as an "absolute textbook bender". The Mountain Hawks moved their overall record to 11-5-3 with the quarterfinal victory.

Second team All-Patriot League member Jamie Luchini leads Lehigh with 22 points behind seven goals and eight assists. Forrest, who earned third team All-League recognition, follows closely with 21 points thanks to a team-best nine goals and three assists. Two other Mountain Hawks also earned All-Patriot League honors in juniors Justin Worley (first team) and Danny Gonzalez (third team). Bogan holds a strong 10-2-3 record in goal this season and has secured eight shutouts to go along with his .840 save percentage and .89 goals against average.

Colgate earned the top seed in the Patriot League Tournament by finishing league play with a 7-2-0 record that was good for 21 points. The Raiders are 10-6-2 overall and carry a six-match unbeaten streak into Friday's semifinal matchup. After starting Patriot League play 1-2, Colgate won its final six Patriot League games and the Raiders only league losses came against Lehigh and Boston University.

The Raiders are led by Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year Ethan Kutler who tallied a league-best 24 points behind nine goals and six assists. Kutler is one of six Raiders to earn All-Patriot League honors and is joined by defender Zach Tamen (first team), midfielder Colin O'Neill (second team), midfielder Jared Stroud (second team), defender Aram Ouligian (third team) and keeper Ricky Brown (third team). Brown has secured six clean sheets to go along with his .812 save percentage and .91 GAA.
