Lehigh continues fall play at Princeton this weekend

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's tennis team heads to Princeton for the 47th Annual Farnsworth Invitational this weekend. The three-day event will take place Friday through Sunday at the Tigers' Lenz Tennis Center.
 
Play will begin at 9 a.m. each day with doubles followed by singles. There will be seven 16-player singles draws and two doubles draws with 104 total players entered. In addition to host Princeton, Lehigh will be joined by Army West Point, Binghamton, Boston College, Bucknell, Drexel, Fairleigh Dickinson, Georgetown, Marist, Monmouth, NJIT, Princeton, St. John's, Temple and Wisconsin in the Invitational. This weekend's Invitational will serve as Lehigh's third action of the fall season. The Mountain Hawks most recently hosted the Lehigh Invitational last weekend. Lehigh combined to go 7-4 in doubles play and 11-9 in singles action against Morgan State, Loyola and Stevens Tech. Freshman George Cooper impressed with a 3-0 singles record and 3-0 doubles mark playing alongside sophomore Jack Petersen.
 
Following the Farnsworth Invitational, Lehigh will host the Patriot League Kickoff next weekend on the Ulrich Varsity Courts.
