BEALLSVILLE, Md. – Junior Kelly Moylan led the way with a second consecutive round of nine over par 81 to lead the Lehigh women's golf team on the final day of the Hoya Invitational Tuesday at the Members Club at Four Streams. The Mountain Hawks shaved six strokes off their opening round score from Monday, but finished tied for 14th at 351-345-696.

Moylan was Lehigh's low player with her rounds of 81 on both days. Play on Monday was shortened from 36 to 18 holes due to weather and poor course conditions. Moylan's total of 162 placed her in a tie for 31st.

Lehigh's next highest finisher was senior Crystal Lee, who tied for 58th at 85-87-172.

Freshman Clarie Serruto enjoyed the biggest improvement from round one to round two, shooting 86 on Tuesday to tie for 71st place at 94-86-180.

Also competing for the Mountain Hawks were junior Alyssa Scheyd and freshman Elizabeth McGarrigle. Scheyd shot 91-91-182 and tied for 75th place while McGarrigle finished in 81st place at 94-92-186,

Penn's Amanda Chin captured medalist honors, shooting 71 on Tuesday to finish at one over par 145 (74-71). Chin bested Michigan's Lauren Grogan by four strokes

The Quakers also edged the Wolverines by four strokes for the team title. Both teams shot 298 on Tuesday but Penn's opening day 309 led the Quakers to a 607-611 victory. Yale finished in third place, 13 strokes behind the Quakers.

The Mountain Hawks will next compete in the Red Flash Invitational, April 14-15 in Loretto, Pa. The tournament, hosted by Saint Francis University, will serve as Lehigh's final tune-up before the Mountain Hawks host the Patriot League Championship, April 19-20 at Saucon Valley Country Club.
