Softball doubleheader at Penn washed out after two innings

PHILADELPHIA – Lehigh led Penn 10-3 in the opening game of a doubleheader Wednesday at Penn Park when play was halted due to heavy rains. The doubleheader was subsequently rained out with no makeup date announced.
The Mountain Hawks will open their home schedule and Patriot League play this weekend when Colgate visits Kaufman Field for a three game series. Lehigh and Colgate will play a doubleheader Saturday at noon and a single game Sunday that will also start at noon. Live audio of Sunday's single game will be available at Lehighsports.com.
