BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women's golf team closed out its fall season with a strong showing at the Lehigh Invitational, presented by B Braun, which wrapped up Monday on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club. The Mountain Hawks finished second in the nine-team field, with team scores of 326-311 for a total of 637. Princeton coasted to the team title at 314-299-613.

On a day when all five Lehigh scoring players shot below 80 it was junior Tess Jennings, competing as an individual, who led the way. Jennings was one under par through her first nine holes and finished at three over par 75 on Monday to finish in fourth place at 154 (79-75).

Among scoring players, Lehigh's top individual was senior Alyssa Scheyd, who tied for seventh at 158 after back to back rounds of 79.

Three Mountain Hawks tied for 11th place with scores of 160. Senior Kelly Moylan and junior Nicole Feierberg both shot 81-79 over the two-day event, while senior Melanie Dickens rebounded from an 85 Sunday with a 75 on Monday.

Freshman Megan Moylan was Lehigh's fifth scorer, finishing 27th at 166 (88-78).

Among individuals, freshman Casey Farmer finished in the top 20, tying for 18th place at 163 (83-80). Sophomore Elizabeth McGarrigle shot 164 (79-85) and tied for 20th, while classmate Claire Serruto shot 172 (89-83) and finished in 38th place.

Princeton had the top three individuals overall. Alexandra Wong and Tenley Shield tied for first at 150 but it was Shield, competing as an individual, who earned individual medalist honors as her final round 75 bested Wong's 76. Hana Ku finished third overall, two strokes behind Wong and Shield.

Lehigh finished six strokes ahead of Albany for second place. Monmouth finished fourth, while IUPUI completed the top five.

The Mountain Hawks' spring season will begin in March.
