BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's golf team will wrap-up its fall schedule this weekend as the Mountain Hawks host the Lehigh Invitational presented by B Braun. The invitational will feature nine teams for a two-day, 36-hole event, which will be played Sunday and Monday on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club.

Saucon Valley Country Club, founded in 1920, has grown from 18 holes and a clubhouse to become one of the largest private clubs in North America. It encompasses 800 acres and consists of four courses, including the Weyhill Course, Old Course, Grace Course and Short Course. The Grace Course opened with nine holes in the fall of 1953 with the second nine opened for play in 1958. Named for Eugene Gifford Grace (Lehigh Class of 1899), longtime president and chairman of Bethlehem Steel, the Grace Course measures 6,012 yards from the ladies tees and features greens nearly twice the size of those on the Old Course but without the severe contours.

The Lehigh Invitational will be the women's fifth and final event of the fall season. The Mountain Hawks' season has been highlighted by their fourth place finish out of 15 teams in the Chesapeake Bay Invitational. Lehigh also finished seventh out of 14 teams in the Bucknell Invitational and seventh out of 17 teams at the Rutgers Invitational.

In Lehigh's last tournament, senior captain Kelly Moylan finished 26th overall with a score of 234 (78-77-79) to lead the Mountain Hawks to an eighth place finish out of 12 teams at the Princeton Invitational. Junior Nicole Feierberg finished three strokes behind Moylan, tying for 31st at 237 (76-82-79).

A year ago, The Mountain Hawks finished at 634 (321-313) in sixth place at the Lehigh Invitational. Moylan concluded her 2013 fall campaign in 19th place individually with a score of 159 (78-81) while current sophomore Elizabeth McGarrigle put together two solid rounds of 80 to tie for 20th at 160.

This year Lehigh will be joined by Albany, Hartford, Holy Cross, IUPUI, Monmouth, Niagara, Princeton, and St. Francis (Pa.).

Action at the Lehigh Invitational begins Sunday at 9:30 a.m. with the first 18 holes from the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club. Monday's final round will also begin at 9:30 a.m.
