BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Lehigh men's soccer team will face off against Drexel on Thursday at 7 p.m. and Yale on Sunday at 1 p.m. on its own turf after two weeks of traveling. The Mountain Hawks are seeking their first win of the season after a tense struggle Saturday with Albany, which ended in a 0-0 double overtime draw.

The strong defensive effort against Albany was enough to hold off the opponent's 11-9 shot and 6-2 corner kick advantages. Defenders Ben Wysocki, Justin Worley, Ali Famili, and Stefan Woort-Menker, along with sophomore defensive midfielder Ryan Bertrando, tirelessly kept Albany off the board for a full 110 minutes of play. Sophomore Dilan Casanovas Mack led the offensive attack for the Mountain Hawks with three shots, followed by junior Brian Suchoski with two.

The Drexel Dragons will come to Thursday's game following a 2-0 shutout against Stony Brook, which improved their record to 1-2-1. Junior Maty Brennan got his team off to a good start with his first-ever goal seven minutes into the first period, while senior Nathan Page sealed the deal late in the game with an open net shot in the 90th minute. Freshman goalkeeper Tyler Afflerbach earned the shutout in his first career start.

Thursday's game will mark the 34th all-time meeting between the two teams, which Drexel leads by a slim margin of 18-14-1. The Mountain Hawks hope to avenge last year's 1-0 defeat, when the Dragons netted a goal in the 63rd minute and the Mountain Hawks were unable to recover.

Yale currently holds a 1-1 record and will meet Fairfield at home on Friday night before traveling to Bethlehem on Sunday. The Bulldogs lost their first game of the season to Fordham 2-0, but rebounded nicely at Sacred Heart to claim a 4-1 win. The team is led by senior Peter Jacobson who has tallied three goals, one assist and eight shots in the first two games of the season. Goalkeeper Blake Brown has allowed three goals while making five saves.

Sunday's game will be the sixth all-time meeting between Yale and Lehigh, with the Bulldogs holding the 3-2 advantage. The two teams met in 2012, with Lehigh coming out on top by a score of 1-0. The Mountain Hawks will be aiming for their third straight win against Yale on Sunday.

After the two home games this weekend Lehigh will see a break in action until the following Saturday when they travel to La Salle.

A live broadcast of both matches will be available on the Patriot League Network. Live stats will also be available for both matches.
