BETHLEHEM, Pa. – In its second event of the season and final event of the fall semester the Lehigh track and field teams enjoyed a successful night of competition Friday at the Fast Times Before Finals meet inside Rauch Fieldhouse. The meet was unscored, but Mountain Hawk athletes enjoyed a number of personal bests to enter the semester break on a high note.

“I'm really pleased with how we came back this week,” said Lehigh head coach Matt Utesch. “Everyone came back focused from last week to tonight. We competed really well and had a bunch of personal bests, about nine on the women's side and eight on the men's side.

Utesch continued, “All these bests mean that the kids are adjusting well to the technique and responding well to the training. We're definitely heading in the right direction as we head into break.”

On the women's side sophomore Elizabeth McManus led a 1-2-3 finish for Mountain Hawks in the 500 meters with a time of 1:20.74. McManus was followed by classmates Kathleen Ryan and Jessica Perone.
