Lehigh to kick off Men’s Basketball Partnership on Saturday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh will launch the newly-formed Lehigh Men's Basketball Partnership on Saturday morning prior to the homecoming football game vs. Bucknell. The morning will consist of a pregame tailgate, with Lehigh basketball alumni in attendance.
The tailgate will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the lobby/patio area of Stabler Arena. Many former Lehigh basketball players will be attending, including Robert McCann ('52), Joe Workman ('53), Tom Healy ('58), Ken Weaver ('61), Jim Heller ('73), Bill Griffin ('79), Jeffrey Campisi ('81), Bill Kostyak ('82), Fred Ketcho ('83), Mike Polaha ('87), Michail Sidorov ('97), Vin McCaffrey ('98), Fidelin Willybiro ('00), Matt Logie ('03), Jose Olivero ('07),Greg Page ('09), Matt Szhalachowski ('09), Zahir Carrington ('10)and Marquis Hall ('10).
The day will also consist of a ring ceremony at halftime of the football game, when the 2009-10 Patriot League Championship squad will be presented with its championship rings. The women will be honored for their championship season as well.
The newly-former Men's Basketball Partnership will be led by Ketcho and McCaffrey on the executive committee. Ketcho will serve as the Alumni Ambassador to Lehigh Men's Basketball, the lead position in the organization, while McCaffrey will serve as the Chairman of Career Networking.
