12 Mountain Hawks named to women's honor roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh placed 12 student-athletes on the Patriot League Women’s Academic Honor Roll for the spring semester led by junior Nicole Montegary’s 3.91 grade point average. Other Mountain Hawks named were seniors Tracie Fails and Laura Tom, juniors Melanie Conklin, Carolyn House, Jen Schappert and Sarah Seiler, sophomore Kirsten Wert and freshmen Allison Grese, Theresa Fromm, Sarah Serwo, and Claire Sharman. To be eligible for the honor roll, a student-athlete must obtain at least a 3.2 GPA and be a starter or key reserve in his/her sport.

In all there were 185 student-athletes on the women’s honor roll, led by Navy’s Kirsten Andrews, the 2006 Patriot League Scholar Athlete of the Year.
