Mountain Hawks place ten on All-League teams

Horn, Marchildon, Robinson and Zambrows were members of the first-place 4x400-meter relay team, which finished in a time of 3:16.32 and collected ten team points at the championships. For his efforts, Robinson was named the Men’s Rookie of the Meet. Ahearn, Manning, Merola and Zambrows were each part of the second place 4x800-meter relay team, which crossed in a time of 7:36.01, and registered eight team points, while Malek finished second in the 110-meter hurdles and Percopo totaled 5877 points for a second place finish in the decathlon. This is the third straight season that Malek has achieved All-League status, while Ahearn adds an Outdoor All-League nod to his 2005 Indoor selection. For the rest of the Mountain Hawks, this is their inaugural All-League selection.
Schappert has now made the All-League First Team in each of the past two seasons. The international relations major won the 5,000-meters with a time of 17:14.53. Schappert was a First-Team pick last year after winning the 10K.
