Wetzel opens action for Lehigh in New Jersey

PRINCETON, N.J. – Lehigh opened action at the 2009 ECAC/IC4A Outdoor Championships on Friday as senior Jon Wetzel ran in the 5,000 and was the lone Mountain Hawk to compete. Wetzel crossed in 14:49.62 to place 28th as he defeated runners from Duke, Syracuse, and Georgetown. The rest of the Lehigh contingent will begin action on Saturday.
Action on Saturday from New Jersey gets underway beginning at 9:00 AM.
