Mountain Hawks continue action at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA – Lehigh continued action at the 2009 Penn Relays on Friday at Franklin Field, as the men’s 4x400 relay team placed fifth in its race, crossing in a time of 3:19.80, and the men’s 4x100 relay team crossed in 44.14 seconds in its opening heat. In the men’s shot put, Nick Ray placed 13th with a throw of 50’9 ¼”.

Much of the entire Mountain Hawks team will be in action on Saturday on the Goodman Campus at the annual Lehigh Games versus one of the largest fields in the history of the event. Several Lehigh athletes will finish up competition at the Penn Relays in the men’s javelin and the women’s 4x800 relay.
