Lehigh looks for four straight at Bucknell

Lehigh heads to Lewisburg on Wednesday evening for the first of three straight pivotal road league contests starting this evening against first-place Bucknell at Sojka Pavilion. The Mountain Hawks downed archrival
Lehigh’s three straight wins were due in large part to the Mountain Hawks defensive effort in the second half. Lehigh held the three teams (Army, Colgate, Lafayette) to 31.9 percent shooting (30-94) and a total of 80 points (26.6 per) in the second half. Army’s 21 second half points were the fewest by a Lehigh opponent in the second half since last season’s overtime win at Colgate.
During its three-game winning streak Lehigh has found its touch from the outside, sinking 13-of-25 three-pointers (.520%),while holding opponents to a 33 percent showing (16-48). Against
Wednesday’s tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 pm from Bucknell’s Sojka Pavilion. The contest will be broadcast live on ESPN Radio 1230 and 1320 beginning at 6:30 with veteran Matt Kerr.
