Lehigh reacts to league statement

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The month of March was an exhilarating one for the Lehigh men’s basketball team as the Mountain Hawks won just their second-ever Patriot League Tournament championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in school history. Lehigh defeated archrival Lafayette 74-59 on March 12 inside Stabler Arena to win the 2010 Patriot League title, and one week later in Oklahoma City the Mountain Hawks gave the nation’s number-one team, the Kansas Jayhawks, all it could handle in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. During this time the men’s basketball program has garnered a great deal of attention from across the country. Here are some of the highlights from during that time.

Early last week Hall and head coach Brett Reed were interviewed by NBC 10 out of Philadelphia as the Mountain Hawks prepared for their meeting with the nation’s number-one team, Kansas. Check out the interviews here.

Carrington was just as busy as anyone fulfilling interview requests. He spoke with the Philadelphia Inquirer for a feature story and also discussed Lehigh’s game vs. Kansas with the Philadelphia Daily News and the Philadelphia Tribune.
While the Mountain Hawks were in Oklahoma, junior Rob Keefer spoke with the Doylestown Intelligencer on making it to the tournament and taking on the top-seeded Jayhawks. Read the entire story here.
