Mountain Hawks return home to face St. Francis

Lehigh returns to the friendly confines of Stabler Arena Saturday for its first home game since December 9, 2002. The Mountain Hawks defeated Columbia 67-51 in their last home affair before embarking on a three game road trip. The Mountain Hawks are 4-0 this season at home, however, the squad has managed only a 1-5 record on the road. Lehigh is over .500 in January for the first time since the 1994-95 season. That year the squad opened 6-5 before ending the season 11-16. Lehigh’s most recent road defeat came at the hands of Wagner. The Mountain Hawks trailed by 12 at halftime before falling 80-68. Ra Tiah and Matt Logie each posted 19 points for Lehigh. Tiah went 9-of-12 from the free throw line and also managed a game high eight assists. Logie shot an economical 7-of-12 from the floor, including going 2-for-2 from three point land. Logie needs just two triples to surpass Brett Eppehimer’s career total of 226. At his current pace, Logie could do just that on Saturday. St. Francis (NY) enters the weekend 3-5 following a 69-63 loss to Radford University. Senior, Bronski Dockery, leads the Terriers. Dockery is averaging 19.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. During the Radford contest, Dockery posted team highs in both points (21) and rebounds (6).
