2002-2003 Schedule Announced

Bethlehem, PA - Lehigh University's men's basketball team has released its official schedule for the upcoming 2002-03 season. The schedule is available on-line by clicking the link on the bottom of the page, or by visiting the men's basketball section of www.lehigh.edu. During the upcoming season Lehigh and first year head coach Billy Taylor will face stiff competition. The Mountain Hawks open the season at home vs. Dartmouth. Lehigh's next game will be a tough challenge. On November 24th the squad will travel to Champaign, IL to face defending Big Ten champs Illinois. Lehigh will also travel to Miami to face the Hurricanes on December 30th. Along with Illinois and Miami, Lehigh will face traditional Patriot League foes with league play beginning on January 11th against Navy. The Patriot League tournament concludes the Mountain Hawk schedule for the season. The initial rounds of the annual tournament will be held on March 8th and 9th at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, MD. The Patriot League finals, which will be televised live on ESPN, will be played on Friday, March 14th. The highest remaining seed will host the championships game.
