9/15/2003 12:00:00 AM | Men's Basketball
After struggling through its non-league schedule, Lehigh looks for a fresh start on Wednesday evening when it travels to West Point, New York to take on Army in the Patriot League opener for both teams. The Mountain Hawks have found success when playing the Black Knights in the league opener holding a 5-1 advantage. Lehigh has won the last four contests between the two schools with Army holding the overall series lead at 51-18. Army features the top two scorers in the Patriot League in Chris Spatola (18.5 ppg.) and Charles Woodruff (17.5 ppg.) Lehigh has a sharpshooter of its own however in Matt Logie who has averaged 18.0 points per game over the last four contests. Last season at Christl Arena, Logie scored 23 points including a number of big shots down the stretch. Hear the game live in the Lehigh Valley on 1470 WKAP with Matt Kerr or worldwide via the Internet on the Lehigh website.
