Lehigh will host Wagner in its home opener on Tuesday evening at 7:30 in Stabler Arena. The Mountain Hawks are looking to snap a three game losing streak to the Seahawks and earn their first win of the season in front of the home crowd. The Mountain Hawks opened the 2001-02 season on Friday evening with a loss to St. Francis in Brooklyn Heights. Despite strong efforts by senior Scott Taylor (23 points), junior Bobby Mbom (14 points and ten rebounds), and sophomore Alex Jensen (18 points and nine assists), Lehigh was unable to come away with the win losing 100-91. Lehigh shot an impressive 68% in the first half but St. Francis responded with 61 second half points shooting 71% from the field en route to the victory. Wagner enters the game 0-1 after losing their season opener to Virginia, 105-74. The Seahawks return four starters this season and play an up-tempo style that thrives on a high-pressure defense. The game can be heard live in the Lehigh Valley on WKAP, 1470 AM, and on the Internet at
