Lehigh drops two close meets to Marist

On the women’s side, junior Melanie Rolish captured a pair of individual events, winning the 400 IM in 4:42.87 and the 200 breast in 2:27.65. Sophomore Laura Eull took first in the 200 back, with a time of 2:12.33. Eull and sophomore Allison Rolish teamed for a 1-2 finish in the event. The Mountain Hawks also won both women’s relays, with Eull, Melanie Rolish, sophomore Claire Winiarski and freshman Kristen Keenan taking the 400 medley relay in 4:06.62. Lehigh’s A team also won the unscored 400 free relay.
Junior Dan Johnson led the way for the Lehigh men, with wins in the 100 and 200 yard freestyle events. Johnson took the 100 in 47.70 seconds and the 200 in 1:45.36. He did not compete in the 50 free. Senior Jon Kearney won the 200 fly with a time of 1:57.54.
Senior Clark Cohen won the one meter dive, scoring 315.75 points - enough to qualify for the NCAA Diving Zone meet, and also took third place in the three meter event. Johnson,
The Mountain Hawks will be back in the pool on Sunday January 20 when they travel to Patriot League rival Army for a meet that begins at noon at Crandall Pool.
