In secondary school … four-year member of the varsity team … served as captain during her senior season … two-time All-State selection … four-year varsity soccer player, garnering All-State accolades on the pitch … recipient of the 2006 Best Defensive Player award in soccer … member of Team Alaska in soccer, which competed at the Arctic Winter Games and earned a gold medal … also excelled in competitive jump roping where she was an individual champion, having appeared in numerous competitions across the country … member of the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars … awarded the Alaska Scholars Scholarship Award and the United States Army Reserve National Scholar-Athlete Award for Academic and Athletic Excellence.

Why Lehigh?: “Coming from Alaska, I was looking for a school with high academic standards where I could meet my career goals, have the opportunity to continue to play volleyball and have a chance to experience a completely different part of the country. Lehigh met all my expectations and more.”

On Coach Maurer: “I am so excited to have a chance to work with Coach Maurer. Despite not having all the opportunities to play club ball and attend camps that girls in the Lower 48 have had, Coach Maurer took a chance on me! I am really looking forward to learning from her and the rest of the team and becoming a better player.”
