WHY LEHIGH?
"I chose Lehigh because the university has a great computer science program and a DI school which allows me to play at the highest athletic collegiate level while being academically challenged. It is also a beautiful campus!"

2023 (SENIOR SEASON)
Played in nine matches while starting three… Tallied 14 kills, 16 digs and 18.0 blocks on the season… Recorded four kills, seven digs and nine blocks in win over FDU (9/9)… Recorded four kills, three digs and two blocks in win over Holy Cross (9/16)…
2022 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Saw action in 19 matches at middle-blocker...finished with 71.0 total blocks and 64 block assists with 45 kills and 15 digs... Reached double-digits in blocks when she recorded a career-best 10 against Rider (9/3)... Made seven kills against Fairleigh Dickinson (9/13)...
2021 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Saw action in 24Â matches at middle-blocker...finished second on the team with 81.0 total blocks and 77 block assists...season-high eight total blocks vs. Navy (10/2)...registered at least two blocks in five straight matches to end the season...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA.
Spring 2021 (FIRST-YEAR SEASON)
Saw action in five matches, playing 12 sets at both middle blocker and outside hitter...tallied seven kills and 16 total blocks, including three solo blocks, averaging 1.33 blocks per set...best outing of the season came in the season finale at Holy Cross (3/27), registering six blocks...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
BEFORE LEHIGH
Sophia is a middle blocker/opposite hitter who attended Riviera Preparatory School. Her four-year varsity stint has been decorated with team and individual accomplishments. Her varsity team was two-time regional and district champions. She has earned First Team (2018) and Second Team All-Miami Dade County (2017 and 2019) honors. Sophia trains with Miami Hype volleyball club and has continued to progress her athletic accomplishments. Her team placed second in the American Division at Girls Junior Nationals in Detroit in 2019 where she was also named to the All-Tournament Team. Academically, Sophia has been a decorated student receiving four-year honor roll recognitions and inducted into the English Honor Society. Sophia is also an active member of the Key Club, Secretary and Spirit Chair for Student Government Association, a Tina Dailey Foundation Ambassador, and a member of the Marine Conservation Club. Sophia will pursue a degree in computer science and minor in marketing at Lehigh.
