Why Lehigh? “I chose Lehigh because I felt that the school offered the best all-around experience: great academics, a competitive softball program, as well as ample opportunity to get involved with other organizations on campus.”

On Coach Troyan: “He is a fantastic coach. He is very clear with his orders and demands, and he is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I would also make a note of his hilarious sense of humor.”

On the Lehigh softball experience: “To me, the Lehigh softball experience is not just about playing and succeeding on the field, but it’s also about bonding with my teammates and creating lifelong friendships.”

As a sophomore: Appeared in 53 games, making 16 starts at second base... used primarily as a pinch-runner... scored 15 runs... had RBI in wins over Saint Francis (Pa.) (3/6) and Army (4/28)… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

As a freshman: Appeared in 39 games making 26 starts in the middle infield... went 4-for-8 at season-opening ECU Pirate Clash... hit by pitch a team-leading eight times.

In high school: First team All-Chesmont and second team All-Area selection… All-State Honorable Mention… received the Al Weeks Award for the most dedicated female athlete… set school records for home runs in a season, batting average, slugging percentage, on base percentage, and RBIs… received the Coach’s MVP Award as a junior… defensive player of the year for her basketball team… awarded seven varsity letters during her four years in softball, basketball, and volleyball…National Honor Society… Academic Honor Roll all four years… plays travel ball for Delaware County Chaos team.

Personal: Daughter of Mark and Nancy Odren...enjoys drawing, playing video games, and school work.

What’s your favorite thing about Lehigh?: My favorite thing about Lehigh is the campus itself- the buildings and landscaping are all beautiful.
Major & Why: I’m majoring in Earth and Environmental Science because I love science and I really want to get involved with environmental as well as wildlife preservation.

Favorite Class at Lehigh: It’s a tie between Introduction to Poetry and Terrestrial Ecosystems.
