Why Lehigh? “The second I stepped on campus and met the team, I knew that this was my future home. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and campus is just so beautiful.”

As a first-year: Appeared in 41 games with 33 starts… started 18 games at catcher and 12 at third base… also made starts at shortstop and designated player… had 10 of her 22 hits and 11 of her 16 RBIs over her first nine games… named Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Feb. 16 after strong showing at Gardner-Webb’s Red and Black Classic… went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs in opening day win over Texas A&M Corpus Christi (2/6)… had three hits and four RBIs in win at Gardner-Webb (2/13)… had two hits at Penn (3/18) … named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Before Lehigh: Three-time first team all-league and all-district… three-time all-state including two first-team selections… played travel ball for PA Chaos…. High school class President… two-time all-league performer in volleyball.

Personal: Daughter of Brad and Melissa Neiswender… siblings Katy, Connor and Cole.
