Marisa DeStasio
Marisa DeStasio enters her second season on the Lehigh softball coaching staff. 
 
DeStasio came to Lehigh from Monmouth, where she spent the last eight seasons on staff, including the last three as the Hawks’ associate head coach. During her time in New Jersey, DeStasio helped Monmouth to back-to-back MAAC titles and NCAA Tournament appearances, the first two in program history, in 2018 and 2019. 
 
Prior to her time at Monmouth, DeStasio spent six seasons as head coach at Muhlenberg College, where she posted a 131-99-1 overall record (.569 winning percentage) and a 65-31 mark (.677) in Centennial Conference Play.
 
At Muhlenberg, DeStasio led the Mules to a conference championship and NCAA Tournament berth in her first season and later won back-to-back regular season titles in 2013 and 2014.
 
A Bethlehem native, DeStasio has Patriot League experience from a three-year stint at Lafayette from 2007-09 where she helped lead the Leopards to back-to-back appearances in the championship round of the Patriot League Tournament in 2008 and 2009. DiStasio’s first coaching position was at MacMurray College in Illinois in 2006.
 
DeStasio is a graduate of Freedom High School and was a four-year starter at Binghamton and was a second team All-America East honoree as a utility player in 2003. She graduated from Binghamton in 2005 with a degree in human development and added a master's in athletic coaching education from West Virginia in 2008.
