Why Lehigh? “I chose Lehigh because when I came on my official visit, I fell in love with the campus. Although the hills can be intimidating, I love being able to show people pictures and proudly say ‘I go to school there.’ Lehigh also has the perfect balance of athletic and academic tradition and prestige which continues to motivate me to become a better person.”

On Coach Troyan: “He does a great job of balancing hard work with fun. Although Lehigh is a championship program, he understands we are still playing for the love of the game and encourages us to do so.”

On the Lehigh softball experience: “The Lehigh softball experience means the world to me. Our team motto is Pride, Passion, (Ph)amily which describes the experience perfectly. Pride because we have a tradition to live up to, Passion because we try and make each and every day count, and (Ph)amily because we take care of each other on and off the field.”

In high school…first team All-State and four-time first team All-League selection… League Offensive Player of the Yeara as a sophomore… received numerous All-Area and All-District honors from local papers… Named Scholar-Athlete all four years…Member of Principal’s Honor Roll every quarter…Class salutatorian…Member of Softball Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Personal: Daughter of John and Anjelica Waggy…Has one brother: Johnny…enjoys spending time with family and friends and participating in various community service activities.
