Why Lehigh?: “I thought the campus was very welcoming. I also felt that at Lehigh I could get both a great athletic and academic experience.”
On the Lehigh softball experience: “For me the softball experience means more than just softball. Softball is simply all the things we do on the field. However, the softball experience is about the friendships and memories we create that will stick with us long after we’re done playing.”
As a sophomore… appeared in 47 games, including three starts behind the plate… Lehigh’s first pinch runner off the bench… scored 20 runs… ripped first career hit, a two-run triple, versus Lafayette (4/7)… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll… as a freshman… appeared in 23 games, making three starts behind the plate… scored eight runs… member of Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and Dean’s List… in high school… team captain… all-conference selection… named to state all-star team… member of National Honors Society… Personal: Daughter of Jim and Vicki Torborg… sister Carli (18).
