Why Lehigh? “I chose Lehigh because of its incredible reputation for academics and their softball team’s winning program. I also fell in love with the campus and the girls on the team.”
On Coach Troyan: “He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He is very caring and easy going. Coach Troyan has a great passion for the game and is willing to give you on going support with whatever you need.”
On the Lehigh softball experience: “Lehigh softball is a competitive group of talented female athletes who work hard to achieve more than the team's goals for the year. Team captain… as a junior… second-team All-Patriot League selection… made 48 starts at third base… led team with 38 runs batted in… named Patriot League Player of the Week (5/2)… went 4-for-5 with five RBI in win over Bucknell (4/28)… as a sophomore… started 54 games at third base… named first-team All-Patriot League… drove in game-winning run with eighth inning single in Patriot League championship vs. Lafayette… went 3-for-3 in win over Bucknell (4/19)… led team with 74 assists…as a freshman… started 49 games on the left side of the infield… tied for the league lead with 14 doubles… finished second on team with 36 RBI… belted two home runs in one game vs. Penn (3/25)… ripped three doubles in win over Army (3/29)… enjoyed two four-hit games… in high school… first team All-Foothill league as a senior… two-time second team all-league… named to Daily News All-Area second team… batted .447 with seven home runs and an .825 slugging percentage as a senior… plays her summer softball for Valley Breeze Gold… member of National Honor Society… Personal: Daughter of Paul and Tami… sisters Samatha (24), Maxine (19) and Ty (12).
