2026 INDOORS: Competed in five meets for Lehigh… made his track debut in the 4x800 at Fast Times Before Finals… set a personal record in the mile (4:26.04) at the Fastrack National Invite to place 25th… placed 25th in the 800m (1:58.70) at the Widener Indoor Classic… finished ninth in the 800m (1:56.06) at the Philadelphia Metro with a personal best… was a part of the sixth place 4x800 and seventh place distance medley relay teams at the Patriot League Championships.
BEFORE LEHIGH
Brekhus hails from Rapid City, South Dakota, where he competed in cross country and track at Rapid City Stevens High School. He left his mark on South Dakota running, being named All-State Cross Country twice, and was the 2025 1600m state champion. Brekhus also was named Academic All-State Cross Country for his success in the classroom.
