TRACK PERSONAL RECORDS
2021 OUTDOORS: Finished seventh overall and recorded a PR in the 10K at the Patriot League Championships (30:57.36)… Mitchell also finished 12th in the PLCs at the 5K (14:46.94)… Rattled off more PRs in the 1500 (3:58.75) which was good enough for second at the John and Carol Covert Classic, the 5K (14:40.29) at the Bucknell Quad which earned him a third-place finish… Lastly, Mitchell placed fifth and set another PR in the 800m (2:00.82) at the Lafayette Dual.
2021 INDOORS: DID NOT COMPETE
2020 INDOORS: Finished 17th in the 3000m (8:43.55) and 22nd in the 5000m (15:41.24) at the Patriot League Championships… Recorded a personal record in the mile at the Lehigh-Lafayette Dual Meet (4:25.71)… Took second overall in the 3000m at the Angry Birds Challenge (8:49.30)… Finished fourth overall in the 5000m at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invite (15:06.01)… Took 19th in the 3000m at the Penn 8 Team Select (8:43.68).
2019 OUTDOORS: Finished 16th in the 3000m steeplechase at the Patriot League Championships with a time of 9:42.73… claimed second place in the steeplechase at Covert Classic (9:38.83)…Finished 34th overall in the 5K at the Larry Ellis Invitational (15:22.33)… Finished 27th overall in the 3000m steeplechase at the Bison Outdoor Classic, earning a personal record (9:34.57)… Finished first overall in the 3000m steeplechase at the Lehigh versus Lafayette Dual Meet (9:36.35)… Finished second overall in the 5K at the Fred Hardy Invitational, earning a personal record (15:03.51)… Finished 34th overall in the 1500m at the Penn Challenge, earning a personal record (4:08.41).

2018 INDOORS: Ran a season best 3,000m (8:54.82) at the Bucknell Tune-Up…Finished sixth in the 400m (55.80) at the Lehigh-Lafayette Dual Meet…Competed in the mile (4:32.35) and finished fifth in the 1,000m (2:41.53) at the Lehigh John Covert Classic.
BEFORE LEHIGH: Six-time MSHSL State Cross Country qualifier; where he finished fifth in 2015 and 10th in 2016…Two-time all-state honoree and five-time all-conference honoree in cross country…Two-time MSHSL State Track Qualifier; finished 10th in 1600m and sixth in the 800m in 2016, and fifth in the 800m and eighth in the 4x400m in 2017…Four-time all-conference track honoree…School record holder in the 800m (1:57.4) and in the 4x400m (3:27.9).

Why did you choose Lehigh?: After looking at many colleges out east, Lehigh really stood out as a great school both academically and athletically as well as a great match for me.

Most admired person and why: Clare Flanagan. She was a teammate of mine who ended up running at Stanford. Most hard working and humble person I know.
Biggest sports accomplishment: Making the varsity XC team as a 7th grader and qualifying for States with my team. Ended up running a 17:12 5K at the end of the season.

If I Didn't Run Cross Country, I Would Play: Ski racing
