BEFORE LEHIGH
Saparata attended Pearl River High School prior to throwing for Lehigh, and was also a member of the New York Hammer Academy. He arrives at Lehigh with an impressive resume. He was a NY Section One Champion in weight throw, shot put, discus, and a runner-up in hammer throw. The Orangeburg native was named to the All-League, All-Section, All-County teams. He is the Rockland County hammer throw record holder, as well as the Pearl River High School record holder in both hammer and weight throw.
