2026 INDOORS: Competed in eight meets for Lehigh… placed 22nd in the mile (4:21.76) at the Quaker Invite… finished third in the mile (4:34.64) in Lehigh’s win over Lafayette… placed 14th in the 3000m (8:44.49) at the Widener Indoor Classic… placed 13th in the mile (4:18.23) at the Philadelphia Metro… set personal bests at the Patriot League Championships to finish 16th in the mile (4:14.80) and 20th in the 3000m (8:32.57).
2025 OUTDOORS: Ran at four meets for the Mountain Hawks… finished fifth in the 5000m (15:42.63) at the Keystone State Challenge… ran a personal best in the 3000 meter steeplechase to finish seventh at the Monmouth Season Opener… finished fourth in the 3000m (8:34.60) at the Bison Outdoor Classic… won the 5000m (14:55.27) with a personal record at the Coach Pollard Invite… finished third in the 1500m (4:02.93) at the Covert Classic.
2025 INDOORS: Competed in four meets for Lehigh… placed 28th in the 3000m (8:55.36) at the Fastrack National Invite… finished sixth at the Widener Indoor Classic in the 3000m (8:38.83)... placed 24th in the 3000m (8:41.47) at the Patriot League Championships.
BEFORE LEHIGH
A competitor in the 3K, 5K, 10K, 8K cross country and 10K cross country events, Connell brings his talents to Lehigh from Bernards High School. He earned Second Team All-State, First Team All-Conference, a Skyland Conference Championship and a North Two Group Two Sectional Championship during his high school career. In the classroom, Connell was a member of the National Honor Society, an AP Scholar with distinction and an AP Scholar with honor.
