As a junior…first team All-Patriot League selection… went 12-10, playing primarily at No. 2 singles… went 5-1 in Patriot League singles matches… earned clinching point in Patriot League quarterfinal win over Colgate… went 13-8 at No. 1 doubles with Troy List…As a sophomore… posted 9-14 mark playing exclusively at No. 2 singles… highlight of season was comeback victory to earn clinching point versus Lafayette… teamed with Troy List to own 12-9 record as top doubles tandem… received team’s Coaches Award… as a freshman... played No. 4 singles for Niagara going 6-1 in MAAC action… lost at No. 3 doubles and won at No. 4 singles in match versus Lehigh… In secondary school… was ranked in top 150 nationally for USTA 16s…played No. 1 singles at Mount Lebanon High School.
Personal: Son of Michael and Leah Laffey… brother Brendan (23), sister Brianna (19)… lists Gael Monfils as favorite tennis player.
