Why Lehigh? “In my opinion, Lehigh will give me an experience I could not get anywhere else. I will get a second-to-none education while playing for a family-oriented football program.”

As a senior (2015): Team captain… second team All-Patriot League selection… moved from linebacker to defensive end where he appeared in all 11 games with seven starts… tied for second on team with four sacks… had five tackles and 1.5 sacks in season-opener at CCSU (9/4)… recovered a fumble vs. Yale (10/3)… had two tackles for loss vs. Georgetown (10/31)… Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
As a junior (2014): Started all 11 games… began season as defensive lineman before moving back to outside linebacker… led Mountain Hawks with ten tackles-for-loss… finished with 34 tackles and 4.5 sacks… registered two sacks vs. Fordham (10/25)… enjoyed monster game with nine tackles, two sacks, three tackles-for-loss and an interception against Colgate (11/15)… was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts against the Raiders.
As a sophomore (2013): Played in nine games, starting the final three games of the season…finished with 22 tackles and 2.5 sacks… season-high six tackles with 1.5 sacks and 2.5 TFL in win over Holy Cross.
As a freshman (2012): Appeared in all 11 games… saw time at outside linebacker and on special teams… served as team’s long snapper for three-game stretch… finished season with 15 tackles… made four tackles, including first career sack at CCSU (9/8).
In high school: Three-year letterman for football… earned team Defensive MVP honors as a freshman and senior…Four-year starter and letterman for lacrosse team… Member of Honor Roll, Principal’s List, French Honor Society and Latin Honor Society… won Football Scholar-Athlete Award… Special Olympics volunteer and buddy… DARE program speaker at elementary schools.
Personal: Son of John and Janice Laub… has two siblings: John and Stephanie… brother John played quarterback at Richmond.
