Why Lehigh? “I chose to attend Lehigh University because of the outstanding academics and I was given the chance to play the game I love at the Division I level. It was a great opportunity, I loved all the players I met, the people there are going to make it an easy transition flying across the country and making it my new home.”
As a senior (2016): Appeared in nine games… special teams standout finished with eight tackles… had two tackles against both Villanova (9/10) and Fordham (10/29)… had three receptions for 19 yards, including two catches against the Rams.
As a junior (2015): Appeared in all 11 games… caught seven passes for 74 yards… one of team’s top special teams players… finished with 14 tackles… hauled in four passes for 35 yards, including career-long 25 yarder at Princeton (9/26)… season-high three special teams tackles vs. Lafayette (11/21)… made a special teams tackle in eight of Lehigh’s 11 games… had key 18-yard reception to convert 3rd-and-18 vs. Holy Cross (11/7).
As a sophomore (2014): Appeared in six games at wide receiver and on special teams… made first career reception for eight yards at Holy Cross (11/8)…
As a freshman (2013): Did not see any varsity action.
In high school: First team All-League as a senior at both wide receiver and defensive back… set school records with 16 receptions for 283 yards in one game, which ranks third and fifth respectively in state history… led Oregon 6A football with 73 receptions and was second in the state with 1,068 receiving yards… team captain… honor roll student… National Honor Society member… Oregon Scholastic Student-Athlete nominee… team captain and starter for the 6A state champion basketball team.
Personal: Son of David and Darlene… sisters Kendra Howard, Wendy Arnold and Michelle Andersen.
