Why Lehigh? “Excellent athletic and academic opportunities. The campus felt like home while I was there.”
As a junior (2019): Did not see any action due to injury… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
As a sophomore (2018): Started eight games on the offensive line… projected to take over at center but ended season as starting right guard… made season debut at Penn after suffering injury late in preseason camp.
As a freshman (2017): Appeared in 11 games, making three starts at left guard… debuted against Villanova (9/2)… earned first start against Yale (9/16)… also started at Wagner and Colgate… became first freshman to start on offensive line for Lehigh since Will Rackley in 2007.
High school: First team All-Philadelphia Catholic League, All-City and 6A All-State as a senior… second team All-Philadelphia Catholic League as a junior… team captain on 2016 state championship team that went 14-0 and ranked sixth in the nation… also won state title as a sophomore… honor roll student.
Personal: Son of Patt and Michelle Evans… Brother Bear (16) and sister Peyton (18).
