Bio
Why Lehigh? “I fell in love with the mountain atmosphere and everything about Lehigh. From the coaches to the players to the winning and renowned program, I knew this was the place for me. Also, my cousin played and graduated here last year and loved every second of it.”
On Lehigh student-athlete experience: “It means the world to me to play Division I football and even more to play for Lehigh. I am truly blessed to have football be such an important part of my life and I thank God every day for all his blessings.”
As a senior (2015): Started all 11 games at nose guard… tied for second on team with four sacks… career-high seven tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss at Fordham (10/24)… had sacks against Penn, Yale, Fordham and Georgetown.
As a junior (2014): Played in all eleven games, earning a start at Holy Cross… finished season with eight tackles… made two tackles at Cornell (10/18) and versus Lafayette (11/22).
As a sophomore (2013): Appeared in ten of team’s 11 games and made three starts on the defensive line… had three tackles in each of the first four games… finished with 18 tackles on the season.
As a freshman (2012): Did not see any varsity action.
In high school: First team All-Group and second team All-County performer… member of National Honor Society and Italian Honor Society.
Personal: Son of Gregory and Linda Palma… siblings Samantha and Chris.
