Why Lehigh? “For the academics, wrestling, and the ROTC program”
On Coach Santoro: “He’s one of few coaches you will meet that cares about you on and off the mat.”
In 2016-17: Did not see any varsity action.
In 2015-16: Went 1-1 at Shorty Hitchock Memorial Classic posting a 10-8 decision in his first match.
In 2014-15: Competed at the East Stroudsburg Open and Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic.
In 2013-14: Posted one victory in ten bouts… made dual debut in losing effort up at 165 against Columbia… lone win of season came against wrestler from Messiah at Franklin & Marshall Open.
In high school: Amassed 131-45 career record and qualified for the state tournament as a senior in 2012… three-time district place winner and a three-time regional qualifier… finished third in region in 2012.
Before Lehigh: spent the 2012-13 school year at Old Dominion University, where he posted a 3.5 GPA… was not a member of the wrestling team.
Personal: Son of Billy and Dara Ramsey and Kelley Hughes… brothers Russell Ramsey, Stefvan Williamson and Ian Ramsey.
