Why Lehigh?: “I chose Lehigh because of the great education. The people here are helpful and want you to succeed. There are also a lot of programs you can get involved with. My teammates are what really drove my decision to Lehigh, along with the softball program. Also the campus is beautiful.”
As a freshman… started total of 11 games at second base, third base and shortstop… also saw action in left field… three of six hits came in win over Monmouth (4/23)… in high school… two-time All-State shortstop… three-time All-Conference selection… also earned All-State and All-Conference accolades in volleyball as an outside/middle hitter… recipient of Martha Madison Award, highest honor for a female athlete at Windsor Central… member of National Honor Society and high honor roll… academic athlete all-star… Personal: Daughter of Mike and Karen Halaquist… sister Dana… enjoys skiing, snowboarding, swimming and volleyball.
