As a junior… earned ESPN the Magazine third team Academic All-America honors… named Patriot League Pitcher of the Year for third straight season and added Player of the Year honors as well… earned first team All-Patriot League and first NFCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region honors for the third straight year… named ECAC Player of the Year… only Mountain Hawk to appear in all 57 games… fired eight shutouts… established school and Patriot League single-season record with 304 strikeouts… matched her own school and league records with 26 wins… became school and Patriot League career leader in wins and strikeouts… had 16 double-digit strikeout games, including school-record tying 16 vs. Charleston Southern (2/23) and Western Carolina (3/4)… batted .414 with school-record 13 home runs… drove in 49 runs and drew 42 walks… led Patriot League in all three batting and pitching triple crown categories… named Patriot League tournament MVP …as a sophomore… ECAC All-Star… topped Patriot League with 19 victories and 1.47 earned run average… threw no-hitters versus Harvard (3/3) and Penn (3/9)… struck out career-high 14 versus Army in the Patriot League tournament… batted .261 with three home runs… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District team… as a freshman… set Lehigh and Patriot League records for single-season wins (26) and strikeouts (228)… led Patriot League in wins, strikeouts, ERA, opponents’ batting average, innings pitched, shutouts and saves … tossed perfect game with 10 strikeouts in Patriot League tournament versus Army (5/12)… fanned 12 batters while throwing eight inning no-hitter against Maine (3/9)… recorded eight double-digit strikeout games… pitched perfect seventh inning to earn save in 4-3 win over Texas A&M (5/19)... member of Dean’s List and Patriot League Academic Honor Roll… in high school… New Jersey Pitcher of the Year in 2005… first team all-state selection…tossed no-hitter with 18 strikeouts to lead team to victory in state championship game… went 29-2 with 27 shutouts and 520 strikeouts as a senior… captained softball, basketball and tennis teams… Personal: Daughter of Tom and Betsy Sweeney… brother Michael (37) and sister Chris (33).
