Bio
Why Lehigh? “I chose to attend Lehigh University because the atmosphere is welcoming. Everyone is very nice and easy to talk to, but the main reason I chose Lehigh is because it’s not just a college, but a family.”
On coach Coen: “He takes a good football player and makes him into a great one. He is fun to be around and is very understanding. It is an honor to be coached by him.”
On the Lehigh student-athlete experience: “To me it means to become a member of a family of caring, talented, and supportive athletes.”
As a senior (2012): Limited to seven games due to injury… caught 13 passes for 172 yards… established career highs with 84 receiving yards and two touchdowns versus Columbia (10/6)… made first three catches of season, including career-long 50 yarder vs. Fordham (9/29).
As a junior (2011): First team All-Patriot League selection… caught 27 passes for 322 yards and two touchdowns… had career-long 34 yard reception vs. UNH… enjoyed breakout game with five receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown at Colgate…came up big in playoffs with five catches for 69 yards and a touchdown in NCAA playoff win at Towson.
As a sophomore (2010): Limited to nine games due to injury suffered in season opener… caught one pass.
As a freshman (2009): appeared in ten games, mainly on special teams … had one tackle, which came vs. Yale.
In high school: Player of the Week by 6 ABC … Honorable mention linebacker … All-Eastern PA Football.com small school Team … Second Team All State linebacker for Class AA … Member of JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps) … member of Honor Roll … Class Valedictorian … speaker at 2008 Play it Smart Conference in Arlington, Texas … Kappa Leadership Development League (mentor group for high school males.)
