Most importantly, he always acts with our best interest at heart and wants the best for his players both academically and athletically.”

On the Lehigh softball experience: “Playing softball at Lehigh enables me to develop great work ethic as well as create a special bond with people of many different backgrounds. It is more than just winning games and championships, rather working on the person I want to become as well as relationships that will last a lifetime.”

As a freshman… appeared in 37 games, making ten starts…batted .455 (5-for-11) with runners in scoring position… went 3-for-4 with two RBI in win over Colgate (4/3)… In high school… three-year first team All-State selection… four time first team All-Division in both softball and indoor track and field… Rhode Island Softball Scholar-Athlete of the Year… Academic All-State in both softball and indoor track… plays travel softball for Rhode Island Thunder Gold… Personal: Daughter of David and Kileen Mitchell… siblings Kelly (20), David (15) and Ann Marie (13)… enjoys running and spending time with family and friends.
