Why Lehigh? "I chose to attend Lehigh because the campus is beautiful and the university has a perfect mix of academics and athletics."
On the NCAA Tournament experience: “The NCAA tournament was the most amazing thing. The thrill of beating Texas A&M the first time was incredible, but then to beat them a second time to make it to the regional final was even better. It really put Lehigh on the map, and it was great to be a part of that.”
As a junior…went 2-2 with 5.41 ERA in 14 appearances…fanned 27 batters in 42.2 innings of work… struck out season high five batters versus Mount St. Mary’s (3/18)… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll… as a sophomore…posted a perfect 6-0 record in 10 appearances…tossed complete game two-hitter in victory versus IPFW…fanned five batters in 5.1 innings of work to earn win versus Penn… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll… As a freshman … saw action in eight contests in the pitchers’ circle, posting a perfect 2-0 record … earned victories over Norfolk State and Sacred Heart … struck out a season-high three in the win over the Pioneers … In High School…Staten Island Advanced All-Star…League MVP Pitcher…Team MVP…Team Scholar Athlete…had a paltry earned run average of 1.03…hit .447…Personal: Daughter of Bill and Kathy, has one sister, Katie (25).
